Data Onboarding Using File Upload

Marketers have a high volume of customer data offline, and thus it is difficult to manage and use it for customer experience efforts. Sprinklr offers data onboarding using File Upload to import any amount of offline data.
To Onboard Data Using File Upload
- Click the New Tab icon and select Data Collection under Smart Audience Engine within Governance Console.
- Click Install Connector in the top right corner, and select File Upload.
- Give a Name for the file.
- Give the Primary Column Name.

Note Note that this column name should be same as the name of the column in the file that you want to be the Primary Column or the Primary Attribute of the user. |
- Drag and Drop the file in the given field. Or, upload the file.
- Select Schema Type. The schema type is in accordance with the data that is chosen to be the primary column.
- Select Data Type.

Note The data type can be either Subscriber Data or Event Data. Subscriber Data: Contains the demographic information of users such as address, phone no., email id. Event Data: Contains the behavioral data of users like product purchase or email click |
- Event Name Column and Event Time Column need to be filled only if the Data Type is Event Data. See details in this video.
- Click Save in the bottom right corner.
To Check the Reach of the Uploaded Data
Once the file is uploaded, you can check the reach of the uploaded data.
- Click Segment Manager within Governance Console.
- Hover over the Options icon next to the uploaded file.
- Click Recompute to see the recomputed reach of your data.

Note It usually takes a few minutes for the reach to be calculated. |
