- Identify specific functions or processes you want to outsource by doing a thorough analysis. Functions can include front office (customer service, helpdesk, etc.) or back office (accounting, payroll, data entry, etc.)
- Understand the complexity of the functions you want to outsource and decide whether single or multiple vendors will be handling it.

- Review vendor proposals, do a thorough background check and analyze their past performance.
- Once a vendor is finalized, create service level agreements (SLAs) to specify the kind of quality and performance you need.
- Deploy necessary tech and tools to ensure seamless collaboration between the company and third-party vendors involved.
- Regularly review performances against SLAs to ensure your expectations are being met.
