Understanding Configured Columns

Given below is a detailed understanding of how certain measurements operate and fetch data within the Ads Manager configured columns.

Configured Column
Description

Facebook Unique Metrics

View the unique metric data for your ad entities. Please note that the data for the Reach metric will be shown in the account timezone irrespective of the time zone chosen in the Ads Manager time filter. Also, you will not be able to view the total or sort the Reach metric data.

The Facebook Unique Metrics are supported only for the following Duration filters:

  • Today

  • Lifetime

  • Last month

  • This month

  • Last week

  • This week

  • Yesterday

Facebook Run Status

Identify whether there are issues associated with your Facebook ads that have caused their delivery to be slowed down or stopped. You can also view the error information for that issue on hovering over the tooltip alongside.

Facebook Learning Phase

This column will indicate the following information about your Ad Set:

  • In Learning Phase - Ad Set is still learning.

  • Exited Learning Phase - Ad Set has exited the learning phase.

  • Learning Limited - Ad Set isn’t generating enough results to exit the learning phase.

The learning phase is the period when the Facebook delivery system still has a lot to learn about an Ad Set. During the learning phase, the delivery system is exploring the best way to deliver your ad set and so performance will be less stable and cost per action (CPA) will be usually worse. The learning phase occurs when you create a new ad or ad set or make a significant edit to an existing one.

For more information, see About the Learning Phase.

Facebook Learning Phase Entry Date

This column will indicate the timestamp of the last significant edit that caused the Ad Set to re-enter the learning phase. Clicking on the date will open up the Activity pane showing the audit trail.
