How to View the Totals for Metric Columns in Ads Manager

Updated

Sprinklr allows you to view the total of paid initiatives metrics such as impressions, spend, etc. within the Ads Manager without having to manually add these metrics or build a reporting widget to get this information. You could also view a total campaign performance of all Paid Initiatives within Ads Manager.

The columns are averaged and summed on the Campaign, Ad Set and Ad level for the current page. This feature allows easy optimization for media operations, hence increasing efficiency.

To learn more about enabling this feature in your environment, please contact your Success Manager.

Internal Note:

Use these DPs to enable Total Row feature:

PAID_ADS_MANAGER_TOTAL_STATS_ENABLED and PAID_ADS_MANAGER_TOTAL_STATS_HITS_LIMIT

Enablement of this capability requires additional setup.

To View the Total of the Rows in Ads Manager

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Ads Manager within Analyze.

  2. On the Ads Manager window, view the total stats for the applicable metrics in the last row of your Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads for the current page.

Note

  • You must have under 20,000 entities within your filter results for Total (Sum) to populate. Over 20,000 entities will result in an error message.

  • The Total row will not populate with data for unique metrics such as Reach, Frequency, etc.

  • The Total row will not populate with data for custom metrics using unique metrics such as ACMs etc.

  • In order to see the correct total for columns involving currency, the ad-accounts for different rows should have the same currency. In case the ad-accounts have different currencies, the total will not present the correct value.

  • The fields having “Total” in the label will show the sum of the values and the fields that do not have “Total” in the label will show cumulative/calculated value.

    • For example, metrics like Cost per click is calculated based on the total impressions and total spent and will show a cumulative value accordingly.
