How to Clone Ad Entities in Ads Manager

Updated

Leverage Clone and Quick Clone options to create copies of any ad entity you want.
Clone and Quick Clone helps to recreate and copy your existing ad entity without starting from scratch. For instance, you may have six ads running across two campaigns that are scheduled to end soon. Of those ads, you have noticed three are performing very well. Instead of having to recreate them one by one, you can select them all and copy them over to a new or existing campaign.

You can Clone or Quick Clone the ad entity which is performing well and make the desired changes. This capability saves you a lot of time and effort in creating an ad entity copy manually. In Sprinklr Ads Manager, you have the following options to clone an ad entity:

  • Quick Clone - Quick Clone capability immediately recreates an exact copy of the ad entity that you would like to duplicate within the same ad account and the parent entity.

  • Clone - Clone capability offers greater flexibility in configuring the ad entity details, after which a copy of the selected ad entity is created.

  • Clone/Quick Clone via View & Edit Option - Directly make replicas of your ad entity from the Edit window without having to navigate across different ad entity levels from the Ads Manager window.

Note: When an ad set is cloned across ad accounts, then the custom audience will only be carried forward if they are shared.

Note: There is a "Scheduling" section at Campaign level, but for most channels, the scheduling is determined at the Ad Set level. Hence:

  • The Start Date date of the Paid Initiative is given by the earliest Start Date of the Ad Sets within the Paid Initiative.

  • The End Date is given by the latest End Date of the Ad Sets within the Paid Initiative.

  • The Paid Initiative Scheduling will update if the Ad Set Schedules are updated

To decide whether to opt for Cloning or Quick Cloning, please refer to the functionalities section at the end of this article.

Channels Supported: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Nextdoor, and LINE
