1. View & Edit Icon

If the View & Edit Pane is open, you will not be able to take the following actions from the Ads Manager window:

  • Apply Filters or make inline changes to your ad entities such as Name, Start and End Dates, Status, etc.

  • Clone and Create New Ad Sets & Ads actions from the Options menu.

2. Search

Enter the keyword to search across the selected ad entity levels. This will display any ad entity within the edit pane that matches the keyword.

3. Ad Entity Levels

This is displayed irrespective of the level on which you are editing. It provides detail on the number of selected Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ad Variants. Additionally, clicking on each level will highlight the ad entities belonging to that level.

This pane will house all selected ad entities as per their hierarchy in an organized structure, i.e.

  • Campaigns

    • Ad Sets

      • Ads

4. Selected Ad Entities

You can easily navigate between the ad entity levels from the same pane rather than having to switch from the Ads Manager window. Additionally, selecting more ad entities from the Ads Manager window will continue to add them to the pane simultaneously for you to edit.

Note: Any cross-channel bulk editing will only be applicable for fields that are unique to the selected ad entities.

5. Ad Entity Actions

Click the Options icon Space_Mobile_Options.png alongside the ad entity you want to take an action on. The following actions will be available for the supported levels, all within a single workflow:

Quick Clone

This will immediately recreate an exact copy of the Ad / Ad Set / Campaign that you would like to duplicate. This offers greater flexibility in configuring the Ad / Ad Set / Campaign details after which a copy of the configured clone is created.

Clone

You will need to configure the changes and specify the number of clones on the Duplicate pop-up window. Note that this will not open the Quick Ad Publisher (add link).

Copy

This will allow you to copy the Ad Set/Ad and paste it into another Campaign/Ad Set/Ad based on the copied level within the same workflow.

Paste

This is a hand-in-hand capability with the Copy action. You will need to select this option within the level where you want the copied entity.

Create New Ad Set & Ad / Create New Ad

This will allow you to create a new Ad Set and an Ad from scratch within an existing Campaign with a single click from the View and Edit workflow. For Ad Sets, you can create a new Ad from scratch within an existing Ad Set.

Note that few ad entity capabilities like Duplicate, Copy, Paste, and Copy Links will not be supported for new entities.

Copy Links

This will allow you to quickly copy the link of an ad entity in case you would like to share it with your team.

6. Edit Pane

All your edits can be made in this single scrollable pane and you do not have to travel across multiple tabs. Make your changes in bulk across multiple ad entity levels all at once and save the changes at the end within a single workflow.

7. Summary/Creative Preview

This pane will house a preset summary card for your Campaigns and Ad Sets, denoting the details of the account, campaign objective, status, reach, budget, etc. For Ad Creatives, this pane will show a preview of the creative as seen in Ads Composer. For more information see Creative Preview Pane (add link). You can also update their status from the Status drop-down menu of that particular ad entity level.
