Using Ad Post Preview in Ads Reporting

In Ads Reporting, you can track and monitor the performance of your ad posts along with a preview of the creative generated within the widget. This article will provide an overview of the Post Card visualization for ad posts and dynamic creative previews.

Before You Begin

Post Card Preview
Reporting Capability |
On the Post Card visualization type, you will have an option to View Ad Preview for all your posts along with a direct link to open in Ads Manager. |
Clicking View Ad Preview will display a pop-up window with an exact preview of the post. You can change the placement preview as per your choice. You can click Open in Ads Manager in the bottom-right corner to view the creative associated with the post in Ads Manager. |
Using the Ad Post Permalink dimension will provide the original post permalink/s. |
If the post type is a Catalog ad or a Carousel ad, the first card will be fetched and displayed in the post card preview. |
Dynamic Creative
Reporting Capability |
The Dynamic Creative Image dimension will display the actual image used in the ad instead of its name. |
On using a Post Card visualization type, you will have an indication in the top-right corner depicting that it is a Dynamic Creative post. |
A total of 3 creative variations will be rendered in the Post Card visualization.

If the creative Body is not available, a variation of the Title will be displayed along with the post. |
Asset Customizations
Reporting Capability |
On using a Post Card visualization type, you will have an indication in the top-right corner depicting that it is a post using Placement Asset Customization (PAC) or Language Asset Customization (LAC). |
A total of 3 creative variations will be rendered in the Post Card visualization.

Dynamic Product Ad
Reporting Capability |
On using a Post Card visualization type, you will have an indication in the top-right corner depicting that it is a Dynamic Product Ad. |
You will have an option to View sample Dynamic Ad for a preview of the ad along with a direct link to Open in Ads Manager. See Post Card Preview for a pictorial reference of the Creative Preview window. |
You will find information about the Catalog and Product Set to which this dynamic ad refers to within the Post Card. |
The dynamic content such as {product.name} will be displayed as Product.Name and highlighted to convey that it is a dynamic text. |
If the creative Body is not available, a variation of the Title will be displayed along with the post. |
