Repeated Post Deletion Attempt
Until now when an asset expires the post will be automatically deleted. Going forward, we will repeat the deletion process, if the access token of the Social Media Account (where the asset has been posted) is inactive. The deletion process will be repeated once the Social Media Account is reactivated again. With this new capability, the following scenarios will be implemented:
The account owners/subscribers are proactively informed that the post could not be deleted because the token is inactive or for any other reason. They are sent an email regarding the message.
The deletion process is triggered again as soon as the account is linked again.
For some channels like LinkedIn, Instagram where we cannot delete posts automatically due to API limitations - we will notify you to perform such operations natively.
Notify the User via Email
In case the asset is not automatically deleted, Sprinklr will forward an email to the Owner and respective Subscribers of the Asset. This email will update you about the asset deletion status. Going forward, if Sprinklr was unsuccessful in deleting any asset automatically, you can always delete that asset manually.
