Actions for Snapchat Ad Entities in Ads Manager

In the Ads Manager, you can perform a number of actions for your Snapchat ad entities. Among the usual actions, you can set the bidding type for your ad squads, add a fallback Website URL for Snapchat Deep Link ads, and set automatic third-party tagging to Snapchat Ads.

To Set Bidding Type

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click  Ads Manager within Analyze.

  2. From the top Filters container, click the Channel filter and select Pinterest. All your Snapchat Campaigns, Ad Squads, and Snap Ads will appear.

  3. Click the View and Edit icon Hyperspace View And Edit alongside the desired Snapchat campaign.

  4. In the Edit pane to the right, navigate to the Ad Squad level from the left-most campaign structure pane.

  5. In the middle pane, scroll down to the Budget and Bidding section.

  6. Select a bid type from the Bid drop-down menu. You can select from the following bid types:

  • Auto Bid - It allows Snapchat to set the bid on your behalf to get the most goal actions as per the budget and target audience.

  • Max Bid -  It tells Snapchat the maximum amount to bid for you while trying to achieve the most efficient CPA (Cost per Action) possible.

  • Target Bid - It allows Snapchat to adjust the bid, aiming to keep your average CPA (Cost per Action) at or below the amount set by the Ad Set end date. For more information on the supported ad format and optimization goal, see Target Bid — Supported Ad Formats & Optimization Goals.

Snapchat Bid Type

  1. Set the Max Bid / Target Bid value in the Bid Value field.

  2. From the bottom-right corner of the Edit window, click Review Changes to review your changes.

  3. On the Review Changes window, click Apply Changes in the bottom right corner.

To Set Fallback Website URL for Deep Link Ads

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click  Ads Manager within Analyze.

  2. From the top Filters container, click the Channel filter and select Pinterest. All your Snapchat Campaigns, Ad Squads, and Snap Ads will appear.

  3. Click the View and Edit icon Hyperspace View And Edit alongside the desired Snapchat campaign.

    Note

    The campaign running this Ad must be in the Draft state and have Drive Traffic to App as its objective. You can set Objective filters to load these Ads in your Ads Manager window.

  4. In the Edit pane to the right, navigate to the Ad level from the left-most campaign structure pane.

  5. In the middle pane, scroll down to the Creative section.

  6. Under Fallback Types, select Web Site from the two options and enter the website URL in the Web Site URL field. This will allow users to fall back to the website instead of the App Store if they don't have the app installed for deep link ads.

  1. From the bottom-right corner of the Edit window, click Review Changes to review your changes.

  2. On the Review Changes window, click Apply Changes in the bottom right corner.

To Set Automatic Third Party Tracking Tags

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click  Ads Manager within Analyze.

  2. From the top Filters container, click the Channel filter and select Pinterest. All your Snapchat Campaigns, Ad Squads, and Snap Ads will appear.

  3. Click the View and Edit icon Hyperspace View And Edit alongside the desired Snapchat campaign.

  4. In the Edit pane to the right, navigate to the Ad Squad level from the left-most campaign structure pane.

  5. In the middle pane, scroll down to the Tracking section.

  6. You can automatically add tracking tags to all ads within this ad squad by flagging the following box(es) under Third Party Tagging:

  • MOAT - Use this flag to automatically add MOAT tracking tags to all ads under this ad squad.

  • Double Verify - Use this flag to automatically add DoubleVerify tracking tags to all ads under this ad squad.

7. From the bottom-right corner of the Edit window, click Review Changes to review your changes.

8. On the Review Changes window, click Apply Changes in the bottom right corner.
