How to Apply Ads Web Analytics to URL Parameter Fields in Ads Manager

This article will cover the application of web analytics from ads composer in the URL parameter field of an ad variant. This is applicable for Facebook channel ads with any of the below two criteria:
Any Post Type of Store Visits or Product Catalog Sales ad objective.
Collection Ads of any ad objective excluding App Install.
To Apply Web Analytics to URL Parameters from Ads Manager
1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Ads Manager within Analyze.
2. On the Ads Manager window, hover over the Options icon alongside the desired Facebook campaign and select Go to. Select Ad(s) from the options to navigate to the Ads section.
Note The campaign must satisfy any one of the above-mentioned criteria. |
3. Hover over the Options icon alongside the desired ad variant and select View & Edit.
4. From the Edit pane on the right side, click the Creatives tab beneath the ad variant details.
5. From the Web Analytics drop-down menu, select the web analytics to be applied to the URL Parameter field.
6. In the bottom-left corner of the Ads Manager window, click Review Changes to review your changes.
7. On the Review Ad Variant Changes window, click Save in the bottom right corner to save the changes.
8. Follow the steps below to view the web analytics profile applied to the URL Parameters field:
Hover over the Options icon alongside the ad variant and select View & Edit.
From the Edit pane on the right side, click the Tracking tab beneath the ad variant details.
Scroll down to the URL Parameters field to view the web analytics profile applied to the URL tags.
Note If you have filled the URL Parameters field, then your input and Sprinklr Web Analytics will be merged. In case of the same parameters, your input will be given a higher priority. |
