About Parallel Approvals

Updated

Parallel approval is a unique way of approval in which brands can avoid the latency of post-approval due to sequential approval. Every individual approver can approve the post without dependency on another approver. The post will be published only after all the approvers approve the post.

Note: To enable this feature in your environment, please reach out to your success manager or raise a support ticket.

Steps to Create a Parallel Approval Path

Parallel approval can be created via tiered approval. The user must add all the approvals in one approval flow to create the parallel approval. Please refer to the below-mentioned steps for the parallel approval process.

  1. Click the New Tab icon➕. Click All Settings under Platform Modules.

  2. On the Platform Settings window, select Tiered Approvals from the list of options. You can also search for it in the search bar above.

  3. Click Create Tiered Approval in the top right corner of the Tiered Approvals window.

  4. In the creation window, we need to fill in some basic details and Set Entry Criteria, as mentioned below in the table.

  5. Select Approver Type as preferred.

  6. Click Add Another Approval to add another approval.

  7. Using this, every individual approver can approve the post without any dependency on the other approver.
