Author Filter allows you to quickly filter your Distributed asset manager by author names. Keeping parity with the Space platform, the Author Filter in Distributed asset manager helps you find content created or approved by a particular user.

​Steps to Add Author Filter in Asset Manager in Distributed

1. Click the New Tab icon . Under the Governance Console, click All Settings within Platform Setup.

   ​

2. Search Distributed Control Panel and select it.

3. Go to the Menu Details tab. 

4. Under the Select Tabs section, select Assets from the dropdown.

   ​

5. Under Select Filters for Assets, choose your preferred boards and select the checkbox for Author from the dropdown.

   ​

6. Go ahead with the rest of the settings for Distributed control panel and click Save in the bottom right corner.

1. Log in to the Distributed environment.

2. Go to Asset Manager.

   

3. Under Filters, scroll down to the AUTHOR section. Select the checkbox for the author.
