Best Practices for Windows User
Updated
Audio Settings in the system:
Navigate to System Settings--> Sound Settings,
In the sound settings, select the output device.
In the output device,
If the selected device is a wired headphone, select the device directly and disconnect remaining Jabra devices/other headphones.
If the selected device is a bluetooth headset, always connect it through Jabra Link 380. Don't connect it directly through bluetooth.
Once the Jabra link is connected, we need to restrict the headphones from connecting directly.
For that go to the System-->Sound
For Example,
a. In the above image there are 3 devices connected, since we already have Jabra Link 380, we need to disable Headphones Jabra Evolve 2 75. For that click on the arrow beside the headphones name.
b. In the properties, click on Dont Allow in Properties section
How to set Default device in Window
Open Control Panel, click on Hardware and sound, Under Hardware and sound click on Devices and printers
In hardware and sound section, click on Sound option.
On clicking on the sound option, new settings window will popup, where we can define the default input and output device.
The first section will help in configuring the default device for output device
If your preferences are Jabra Bluetooth device, then Jabra Link should be default.
If it already has a green tick, then its already a default device,
Else right click on Jabra Link 380 device. Select option to make it default.
If your preference are wired one, select that device as default
In Recording Section, we will configure default Input Device.
