Best Practices for Ads Roles & Permissions
Updated
In this article, Let's learn the best practices for creating roles for ads users in Sprinklr is to create 4 Global Roles, called Peronas, and assign each user to one of them. The four personas are:
Ads Media Planner | Ads Media Practitioner | Ads Creative Publisher | Ads Insights Analyst |
In charge of planning ad campaigns. The user has all the rights of a Media Practitioner, along with some admin settings for managing Ad Accounts, Custom Fields, Budgets, and Ads Settings (i.e. Naming Conventions, Product Catalogs, Crisis Switch, etc.). | In charge of building and optimizing ads on a day-to-day basis. Mainly works in Ads Composer and Ads Manager, with access to Ads Reporting, Ads Pivot, Audience Manager, and Ads Creative Library. | In charge of building Ad Creatives for the Media Practitioner to pick up and place into Ad Campaigns. Mainly works in the Ads Creative Library with view access to Reporting. | In charge of building Ads Reporting Dashboards and delivering insights to the Media Planner and Practitioner to help them optimize Ad Campaigns. Mainly works in Ads Reporting and Ads Pivot, but has 'Sprinklr Only Edit' access to Ads Manager for the purposes of applying Benchmarks and Custom Fields. |
Note:
These Roles should have already been configured in standard advertising customer environments. If they are not present, please contact your Success Manager (although they could have been renamed).
These are all Global Roles; Workspace Roles should normally not be used.
