Overview

Sections allow you to better organize your Briefs and add elements like text, numbered or bulleted lists, media assets, tables and custom fields. Brief sections can be cloned, locked, reordered or deleted. You can also add padding, margins and borders to Brief sections.

Clone Brief Sections

Hover over a section to reveal the toolbar. Click the Duplicate icon on the toolbar to clone sections in a Brief. Cloning the section will not only copy over the content in the section but also the formatting.

Reorder Brief Sections

Hover over a section to use a drag-and-drop mechanism and reorder sections in your Brief. You can rearrange the sections in your Brief according to your liking by clicking and dragging the Drag icon.

Lock Brief Sections

Hover over a section to reveal a toolbar. Click the Lock icon on the toolbar to lock sections in a Brief. Locking sections prevent unauthorized edits or modifications to the Brief. Locked sections cannot be dragged, edited, or deleted. ​Only users with Lock/Unlock permissions for Briefs can use this feature.

Section Settings

From the toobar, click the Settings option. The Settings popup allows you to set Padding and Margins for the section. You can also give your section a Border and set a color for the border. Enabling the Auto-height toggle ensures that the Brief section adjusts its size based on the content added to it.

Delete Brief Sections

Hover over a section to reveal a toolbar. Click the Delete icon on the toolbar to lock sections in a Brief.
