Enabling Desktop Notification for Care Alerts

Enabling desktop notifications for Care Alerts ensure that the users receive real-time alerts even when Sprinklr is running in the background. This feature helps users stay updated on important events without keeping the Sprinklr tab open at all times. To enable these notifications, users need to adjust their system settings and browser permissions.
Steps to Enable Desktop Notifications for Alerts
Perform the following steps to configure desktop notifications and ensure seamless alert delivery.
For Windows
Navigate to System Settings page on your device.
Search for Notification Settings.
Ensure that Get Notifications from Apps and other Senders is enabled for the browser you use to access Sprinklr. For example, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and so on.
For Mac
Navigate to System Settings page on your device.
Search for Notification Settings.
Ensure that Allow Notifications is enabled for the browser you use to access Sprinklr as shown in the following image.
Verifying if notifications are enabled
Once you have completed the steps to enable notifications, you should receive pop-ups even when working in a different tab.
Note: If you still don't receive notification pop-ups after following the steps, try clearing the site data.
Steps to Clear Site Data
For Windows,
Log in to Sprinklr from any browser.
Right-click anywhere on the screen and click Inspect.
Navigate to Application tab.
Select Storage from the left pane and then click on Clear Site Data.
For Mac
Log in to Sprinklr from any browser.
Right-click anywhere on the screen and click Inspect.
Navigate to Application tab.
Select Storage from the left pane and then click on Clear Site Data.
Important Notes:
Notification will not appear if the tab on which Sprinklr is running is inactive. Click here to learn what causes tab inactivity and how long it takes for a tab to become inactive.
Notifications will not appear if you are on a Teams call, sharing your screen, in Focus mode, or on Do Not Disturb mode in your system/device settings.
