Posts are automatically updated within Distributed, whenever content, schedule time, or other properties of the parent post asset are updated.

You may like/need to modify a post asset at any point of time. Sometimes, you may make changes to post assets even after the Distributed users who have subscribed to the campaign have scheduled the post/asset for publishing. Sprinklr provides you with the facility to create a rule on Rule Engine to have that modification occur on the scheduled posts associated with that post asset in the Distributed User accounts.

To create a Rule to update scheduled posts/assets in Distributed

1. Click the New Tab icon . Under the Governance Console, click Manage Rules within Platform Setup.

2. In the top right corner of the Rule Engine window, click Create New Rule. To learn more about how to create a rule, see Create a Rule.

3. In the Create New Rule window, give your rule a name and an optional description and ensure that the Context field is set to DAM Update. Click Next.

4. In the Rule Builder window, click the  icon and select Add Condition.

5. Under Actions To "Update Social Media Assets", select Sync outbound posts as Action.

   

6. Click Save in the bottom right corner to finalize the rule.
