Add Posts from an RSS Feed on Advocacy

Integrating RSS Feeds

Prerequisite: Set Up an RSS Feed in the Engagement Dashboard.

Before integrating an RSS feed, ensure that you've added the feed to your engagement dashboard. This forms the foundation for seamless content syndication. 

Step to Add an RSS Feed to the Engagement Dashboard 

  1. Access the Admin Console by clicking on the Sprinklr Social tab within Engage. 

  2. Create a new dashboard by clicking Create Dashboard" in the top right corner. 

  3. Within the dashboard, click Add Column in the top right corner. 

  4. Select RSS Feed as the source for the column. 

  5. Enter the name and URL of the RSS feed in the 'Site/Feed URL or Topic' section, and complete other required details. 

  6. Click Create Column to finalize the setup. 

Incorporating an RSS Feed into an Advocacy Content List 

  1. Navigate to the Content tab in the Admin Console

  2. Under the Tabs section, click Add a Tab item.

  3. Select RSS Feed in the Select Source section. 

  4. Specify the type of content list (Flat or Nested). 

  5. Enter the name of the RSS Feed to be visible as the content list's name. 

  6. Select the engagement dashboard in which the RSS Feed is configured. 

  7. Choose the appropriate feed from the dropdown menu. 

  8. Click Save and then Save again to confirm. 

  9. Hover over the Options icon and click Publish to make the changes effective.
