Create a Thread in Advocacy

In Sprinklr, Discussion forums are the platforms where users can engage in discussions by posting messages on various topics. These forums are structured as a series of conversations or threads, each consisting of an initial post and subsequent replies. Users can participate in discussions, ask questions, share information, and express opinions within these threads. 

Within the Advocacy site, advocates can find all the discussion forums and click on the required one to engage in one of the topics that interest them.            

Steps to Create Topics 

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Admin Console within Engage.

  2. In the Community window, hover over the Options icon Space_Icon_Options (Vertical).pngalongside an Advocacy Community and select View Sites.

  3. Hover over the Options icon Space_Icon_Options (Vertical).pngalongside the site’s name, and click Topic Management

  4. Click Create Topic to start a new topic within the discussion forum.

  5. Add the Name and description of the topic. 

  6. Add the topic image or banner to be visible to the advocates when they open a discussion.   

How to Initiate Questions or Individual Threads in a Discussion/Topic? 

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Click the Publishing Options icon in the top right menu bar, and select Create Post

  2. In the Create Post window, select Thread as the Type of Message.

  3. Add the Question, Description and select the thread - Topic

Advocates can select the thread and converse with their teammates through it. They can express their viewpoints and engage in a healthy discussion through discussion forums
