In this article, you will learn how to create WhatsApp DM assets to be used in Journeys.

Create a WhatsApp DM template in DAM

1. Click on the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing tab select the Marketing section, click on Digital Asset Management within Plan.

2. Click Create Asset in the top right corner to create a new asset.

3. Select Omni Chat Templates from the Create Asset drop-down.​

4. On the Create New Asset window, fill in a Name and Description for the asset in the respective fields under Basic Details.

5. Under Asset Specific section, select HSM from the Template Type dropdown and WhatsApp Business from the Channel dropdown.

6. In the Message Text box, you can enter the message that is supposed to be sent to the audience and you can preview it on the right hand side pane.

7. Fill up all the other mandatory details like Element Name, Account Name, Language Code and Category.
   Element Name should only contain lowercase letters and underscores.

8. Once done, click Save and the asset will be ready to use once it is approved by Meta.
