How to Create LinkedIn Custom Audiences
Updated
A custom audience allows you to find existing audiences among people who are on LinkedIn and target your ads. While creating a LinkedIn custom audience in Sprinklr, you can use sources such as websites and members/company lists on LinkedIn to create your audience.
You can select the type of audience you want to create from the following:
Note: LinkedIn’s new DMP segment APIs take up to 48 hours to process an audience for creating a new custom audience. You can implement the old API for this process to create custom audiences efficiently. Note that the audience cannot be edited once it is created using the old API. If you are creating the audience via file upload, the file list size should be less than 300K. |
Internal Note: Use this DP: PAID_LINKEDIN_CUSTOM_AUDIENCE_STREAMING_API_DISABLED Enablement of this capability requires additional setup. |

Note In order to create Custom Audiences, you will need to re-add your LinkedIn Ad Account in Sprinklr. For more information, see Add and Permission Ad Accounts. |
LinkedIn Website Audience
Website retargeting gives you the ability to retarget your website visitors with ad content on LinkedIn.
For example, you can run a campaign to target people who had visited a product page but didn't complete a purchase so as to encourage them to go back to the website to do so.
From the Rule drop-down, select the desired operator: Exact, Starts with, Contains and provide your URL details.
Exact URL NameThis rule will fetch the audience only when they visit the exact URL provided in the field.
Starts with URL NameThis will start fetching the audience once they visit the provided URL and carry on their search on the sub URLs of the same URL.
Contains URL NameThis rule will determine that the audience will be fetched when they visit any website containing the provided URL.

Upload Data File
In the Select File Content Type field, you will find Add Member selected by default. This is because you are required to manually upload a file containing member details. You can also select Add Company to manually upload a file containing company details.
In the Upload File section, click Upload to upload an already prepared file from your system. Alternatively, you can click Download to download a sample file that you can edit and upload. For more information on supported headers, see List of Supported Column Headers.
Note
The file needs to be in CSV format with one record per row.
Any subsequent addition/removal of users and companies within a Custom Audience will take up to 48 hours.
Proceed to save your LinkedIn custom audience.
