Step 1: Authorize the Posts
Posts have to be authorized in the TikTok Ads Manager to fetch them into Sprinklr. To learn more on how to authorize the posts, check this article.
To select and authorize a video for promotional use, from the TikTok app:
Select a TikTok post to authorize.
Tap the three dots, then tap Ad Settings.
Agree to the Advertising Content Terms of Service and enable the Ad authorization toggle.
Tap Generate Code to generate the video code.
After you have authorized a video for promotional use, you will need to share the code with the advertiser and select the duration of that authorization.
After generating the code, select the authorization duration. Choose from 7, 30, 60, or 365 days.
Next, tap Copy Code to share the code with the advertiser.
Once you receive the video code from a creator, you can enter the code in Sprinklr.
Navigate to the Select from existing Creatives section in Ads Composer.
Click Authorize TikTok Post in the top-left corner.
On the Apply for Authorization pop-up window, input the authorization code and the code of the original posts (in case of duet/stitch posts, i.e. videos that were created by two creators) and click Submit.
Once the post is successfully fetched in Sprinklr, the pop-up window will close automatically.
Review the post and click Confirm.
Step 2: Create Spark Ads from Sprinklr
You can take an authorized TikTok organic post and promote them as Ads via:
Engagement Dashboard
Create an Outbound column in your Engagement Dashboard to populate the TikTok authorized organic posts to boost. For more information, refer to the following:
The default objective for your post will be Community Interactions and you cannot change it.
Note:
The Quick Ad Publish workflow for boosting is not available for TikTok.
Ads Composer/Ads Manager
While selecting from an existing creative in the Creatives section, you will find all the authorized organic posts for that ad account populated for selection.
You are required to apply the Post Visibility filter and set it to Organic to view the organic TikTok posts.
You can add a Website URL after the post is selected. Note that if a Website URL is added, then Call to Action (CTA) is mandatory.
You can also apply Web Analytics to your post for tracking.
