About the Presentations Style Kit Library

Updated

The Style Kit Library allows you to create and save stylized template themes that can be applied to Presentations and Slides. When creating and editing a theme, you can dial in and save the following aspects: primary font, secondary font, background color, primary color, secondary color, background image, and color blend settings. Themes allow you to quickly copy a look from Presentation to Presentation to ensure parity across Presentations without having to recreate the styled theme every time.

Style Kits applied to Presentations cascade from top level to bottom level, for example, if they are applied at the Presentation level, all children (Slide, Panel, and Widget) will inherit the Style Kit's characteristics as well. Applied at the Slide level, the Panel and Widget will inherit the Style Kit's characteristics. So on, so forth.

If you want to change an element of a Presentation, Slide, Panel, or Widget, you can override the Style Kit by making a change to the item directly without disrupting the overall Style Kit of any other object. i.e. if a Panel has a Style Kit inherited from a Presentation but you want a different background for the Panel, you can change the background of the Panel without changing the background of the Presentation, Slide, or Widget.

Note: To access the Presentations, you must first be assigned with the Presentations permissions.

Note: To learn more about getting this capability enabled in your environment, please work with your Success Manager.
