Move and Distribute Widgets in Display/Presentations

Updated

Creating visually appealing and well-organized storyboards/presentations often involves the manipulation of multiple widgets such as text boxes, images, charts, and shapes. Sprinklr Display/Presentations now supports multiple widgets to be selected and moved together in a layout. This greatly simplifies the organization and setup of the different widgets, reducing the time to set up and the possibility of introducing any errors while managing them.

This is available in storyboards/presentations editor and applies to all types of widgets that can be added in a single slide. Once multiple widgets are selected, they can be moved together as one single group across the layout.

Steps to Move and Distribute Widgets

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Insights tab, click Presentations within Distribute

  2. Select the desired slide that needs to be managed to update the widget layout.

  3. To select multiple widgets, hold the CMD (CNTRL) key and click on the desired widgets, or alternatively CMD (CNTRL) + A shortcut can be used to select all the widgets together.

  4. Once clicked, widgets are selected as a group with a dotted line outlining them which can now be dragged freely together on a slide.

  5. While multiple widgets are selected, all new alignment options can be accessed from Layout tab for quick distribution and setup of the widgets.

FAQs

A: Currently, the feature allows for temporary selection and movement of multiple widgets. Permanent grouping is not possible today.

Q2: What happens if I select widgets that overlap?

A: The feature will treat overlapping widgets as separate entities, allowing you to move and align them independently within the selection.

Q3: Can I use this feature on different slides simultaneously?
