Create Email Templates (Advocacy)

Email templates are the backbone of any email marketing strategy, especially for advocacy programs. They allow for the consistent, visually appealing delivery of content to your advocates. With a template in place, you can easily update content, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Importance of Content Templates
Efficiency: Templates save time. Once created, they can be reused and slightly modified as per the content.
Consistency: They maintain brand consistency across different email campaigns.
Effectiveness: Well-structured templates with compelling CTAs can lead to higher engagement rates.
Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Content Templates
Navigate to the Content Template Builder. Here, you will find a centralized location to begin the creation of your email templates.
Click New Content Template in the top right corner.
Enter Name for your template. This should be reflective of its purpose, such as "Monthly Advocacy Update" or "Advocacy Program Highlights."
Understanding the Template Components:
Familiarize yourself with the various elements you can add to your template. Here is a breakdown:Image: Insert images relevant to your content. This could be logos, featured images, or any other visual.
Spacer: Helps in improving the visual layout of your content. Use it to separate two components or give breathing room to your content.
Text: Add text boxes with customizable formatting options. Ideal for main content, headings, or any other written element.
Button: Create clickable buttons that lead to webpages, forms, or any other hyperlinked content.
HTML: Use this if you have custom code elements that the basic builder does not support.
Post: A unique section where three post rows are added, which get populated through an engagement dashboard.
Social Footer: Include hyperlinked social icons to promote cross-platform engagement.
Image and Text: Combine visual and written content in one row, ideal for featured stories or updates.
Design Your Template:
Start by adding components to the template via the Designer Tab. Click on the '+' button to add components.
Rearrange elements to match your desired layout. Remember, visually appealing designs can significantly increase engagement rates.
Configure Inputs for Components
Once components are added, their respective inputs or configurations can be adjusted in the ‘Form Input’ tab.
For the 'Post' component:
Choose an engagement dashboard that provides the desired posts.
Specify the number of posts to be included.
Designate columns from the dashboard to populate the newsletter.
Determine how these posts should be displayed.
Preview and Test
Before finalizing, preview your email to ensure everything appears as intended.
It's also beneficial to send test emails to ensure compatibility across various email clients.
Creating email templates for your advocacy program allows you to maintain consistency while also customizing your messaging. By taking the time to develop well-thought-out templates, you enhance the experience for your advocates, increasing the likelihood of engagement and program success.
How to add brand posts within Content Templates
Ask your Success Manager or raise a support ticket to enable this function within your environment.
Navigate to the Content Template builder, within the Sprinklr Social tab.
Here, you will find a centralized location to begin the creation of your email templates. Click New Content Template’ to begin.
After the enablement, you will be able to see an additional checkbox “is Advocacy Template” within the Template builder.
Enter Name for the template, and click Save.
Add the post section while designing the post.
While designing for the 'Post' component in Form input:
Choose an engagement dashboard that provides the desired brand social posts.
Specify the number of posts to be included.
Designate columns from the dashboard to populate the newsletter.
Determine how these posts should be displayed.
Preview and Test the Template and send email newsletters to your advocates using Quick Publisher.
