Rule to autofill email signature

Updated

An email signature is a block of text or graphics that is automatically appended to the end of an email message. It usually includes the sender's name, job title, contact information, and other relevant details such as social media links or company logo. The purpose of an email signature is to provide the recipient with a quick and easy way to get in touch with the sender, and to convey professionalism and credibility.

Advantage of autofill rule over agent signature - The benefit of utilizing an autofill rule instead of an agent signature is that the latter requires each agent to manually set their own signature, which is limited to the specific channel or account they are working on. In contrast, an autofill rule can automatically apply signatures for multiple agents across different accounts and channels, significantly reducing the need for manual input.

Steps -

1. Create a Text Asset with the required signature in the HTML format.

2. Create the following Autofill rule

3. With the Action To Change properties of the message as-

Suggest Response with "Signature Asset"

Note - We can change the condition (Channel, Accounts, users) based on the use case.
