Creating and sending an HTML-type content template for email marketing offers a dynamic and visually engaging way to communicate with your audience. Whether you're sending promotional emails, newsletters, or announcements, an HTML template allows you to design visually appealing and responsive content.
To Create a Content Template
Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing tab, click Content Templates within Publish.
In the top right corner of the Content Templates window, click New Content Template.
Enter the basic details on the Create New Content Template window. Give your template a Name and choose Email Marketing as the Account Type. Specify the Workspace(s) and User Group(s) to share your template with.
Click Save in the bottom right corner.
Build your template according to your preferences from the Designer tab of the template builder.
You can utilize various components. Choose HTML from these options. For more detailed guidance on building a content template, see Content Templates.
Wait for the Publish Status to show as Completed.
Note: You cannot use it in the Post asset until the publish status reflects 'Completed.'"
To Create a Post Asset
Under the Sprinklr Marketing tab, click Digital Asset Management within Plan.
Click Create Asset in the top right corner of the All Assets window and select Post from the dropdown.
On the Create New Asset window, select Email Marketing from the Channels dropdown.
From the Type of Message dropdown, select the Content Template that you just created.
Within the Overview section, enter Name and Description.
Click Save in the bottom right corner.
To Create a Journey
Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Service, click Journey Facilitator within Resolve.
On the Journey Facilitator window, click Add Journey in the top right corner.
On the Create Journey window, fill in the basic details and share settings. You have the option to create either a trigger-based or a segment-based journey, depending on your preference. For more information, see Basic Journey Details. Once done, click Save.
In the builder, add the Send Resolved Message node.
Provide all the required details. Give your node a Name and select the Channel as Email. Add a Subject and choose the desired Account for sending the email. In the Email ID field, use a placeholder to specify where to retrieve the email ID from, whether it's from profile, audience, etc. (wherever the email ID is stored, indicate the source in this placeholder).
Note: The subject line selected during the creation of the Post asset is the one that will be sent to the customers.
In the Message Configuration field, choose Asset. From DAM, select the Post asset you just created, and then click Save.
After incorporating the desired actions in the Journey Builder, include the End Event node to signify the conclusion of the journey.
Click Save & Deploy at the bottom, and the selected journey email will be dispatched to the designated customer segment. Alternatively, you can click Save as Draft if you wish to make further adjustments later.
