Configure Custom Fields for Advocacy

Sprinklr's Custom Fields can be used to segment your advocates within Advocacy Marketing. When screening for advocates, screener questions can be utilized to help determine which potential advocates should be approved based on their answers.

Note: Use of this feature requires that Advocacy Marketing be enabled in your environment. To learn more about Advocacy Marketing, please contact your Success Manager.

Create Custom Fields

  1. In the top navigation bar, in the Administration drop-down menu, select Custom Fields.

  2. Click Create Custom Field in the top right corner.

  3. Select the type of Custom Field you'd like to create.

    Note: The Custom Field type will determine how your potential advocates will answer screening questions - by selecting from provided options, entering text, etc. Picklist or Multi-Select Picklist are the most common options for Advocacy screening questions.

  4. Provide a name (the screener question) and optional description for your Custom Field.

  5. Select CommunityUserMessage, and Outbound Message as the Custom Field Assets.

  6. Select Manual under Set Values.

  7. Enter the answer options for your screener question. Press Enter after each answer option.

  8. Select Is EnabledGlobal AssetIs Part of Asset Search, and Enable Filtering/Faceting.

  9. Click Save to save your Custom Field for use in advocate segmentation.

  10. Repeat the above steps for all screener questions.
