Direct Messages from LinkedIn Company Pages to Profiles

Sprinklr allows direct messages from LinkedIn Profiles to LinkedIn Company accounts. LinkedIn Company accounts cannot initiate a conversation, however, they can react and reply to the DMs sent by the LinkedIn profile accounts. This article provides you with the steps to send DMs from LinkedIn profiles to LinkedIn company pages.
Note:
LinkedIn page cannot initiate DMs to other profiles but reply is supported.
Admins of the Company page with permission(“Manage messages to the Page”) will have the ability to reply on behalf of the company page.
If the Company page has disabled DMs then user profiles will not be able to send DMs.
User will have to re-add the LinkedIn Company Page in Sprinklr for accessing the Direct Messages, after the functionality is enabled.
Prerequisites
You need to re-add the LinkedIn Company Page account in Sprinklr.
When the LinkedIn Company Page account is added, there will be a backfill for the past DMs (Maximum 500 messages for the last 500 threads).
Steps to Reply to Direct Messages from LinkedIn Profiles (For LinkedIn Company Pages)
Click the New Tab icon
. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Engagement Dashboards within Engage.
Click the Dashboard Menu icon
in the top left corner and select the desired dashboard.
On the Engagement Dashboard, locate the Message from the LinkedIn Profile that you want to reply to, and click the Reply icon.
In the third pane that opens, write your reply in the Enter your reply here... field. Rich text is supported in the given field; as a result, you can format the content based on your preference.
Note: Multi-line Reply is supported.
Max character limit is 8,000.
Message may look empty if there are only attachments in the reply.
Click Save as Draft if you want to save the reply to be sent later. Click Send in the bottom right corner to send the reply right away.
