Steps to generate reporting for TikTok Business

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Reporting within Analytics.

  2. Click Create Dashboard in the top right corner.

  3. On the Create Dashboard pop-up window, enter a Name for the dashboard.

  4. Select Folder and Starter Dashboard from the given options in the respective fields.

  5. Under the Tags field, enter or select appropriate tags for your reporting dashboard.

  6. Click Create in the bottom right corner.

Certain caveats around TikTok account reporting

  • All metrics from TikTok include both paid and organic data sourced from the API. You can segregate these into paid and organic categories using Unified Analytics.

  • TikTok makes backfill data available for up to 60 days prior to the time of making an API request for metrics for Account Metrics. However, for TikTok followers, backfill is not possible even for a single day as API only provides a snapshot of followers at the very instant of the API call.

This dimension represents the source of user views or impressions on TikTok. Following sources are received from the channel:

  • For You: View originated from the user's For You feed.

  • Follow: View originated from the user's Follow feed.

  • Hashtag: View originated from interactions with a hashtag.

  • Sound: View originated from the video's associated sound.

  • Personal Profile: View originated from the user's own profile.

  • other_profile_vv: View originated from the profile of users other than the current user, such as collections of other creators on their profiles.

  • Search: View originated from a search on TikTok's Discover page.

TikTok Hour of Day

You can use this dimension to create a widget using the user's local timezone.

  • A TikTok Business account video is an organic post published through a TikTok Business pro handle. This API enables fetching reach and engagement data for these posts.

  • A TikTok authorized post is a post that an ad account has access to. These posts can then be boosted.
