Compose Facebook Click-to-WhatsApp Ads

You can use WhatsApp as a destination for your Facebook Conversion or Traffic campaigns within Ads Composer. Clicking on the ad call to action (Send WhatsApp Message) will send users from their Facebook feed to the WhatsApp chat where they can engage with your business.

Use Cases

  • Customers can directly chat with your brand on WhatsApp instead of visiting a generic Website destination.

  • Drive traffic to your WhatsApp number and easily connect with customers interested in your product.

  • Automate your responses to customers and track the number of conversations your ads start.

Before You Begin

To Create Click-to-WhatsApp Ads

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Marketing, go to the Advertising sub-tab and click Ads Composer within Execute.

  2. On the Ads Composer window, select your Facebook Ad account.

  3. In the Campaign Details section, choose Traffic (New Objective)/ Engagement (New Objective)/ Sales (New Objective) as your campaign Objective. For more information, see Facebook and Instagram Objectives.

  4. Under Campaign Name, enter a name for your campaign or use a pre-defined naming convention.

  5. From the Choose where you want to drive traffic section, select WhatsApp.

  6. Select the Facebook Page connected to your WhatsApp account and the WhatsApp number.

  7. Click Next and apply your targeting in the Target Audience section.

    Note

    You cannot target click-to-WhatsApp ads to people under the age of 18.

  8. Proceed to the Budget & Schedule section and select the budget details, placements, and campaign scheduling.

  9. Click Next and select your ad creative/s in the Creatives section. You can also build your creative from scratch.

  10. Proceed to the Review section and click Publish in the bottom right corner to publish your Click-to-WhatsApp ad campaign.

Note

The WhatsApp chat will begin with a link to the Ad Post that can be used to find the Ad ID associated with the conversation.
