Add a Viber Account

Updated

Viber is a cross-platform voice-over IP (VoIP) and instant messaging (IM) software application. For your business to be able to interact with your customers on Viber, Sprinklr provides you with the option to create a Viber Account. Adding this account will let you view and reply to Viber messages via a column in an Engagement Dashboard. Additionally, Sprinklr supports a number of publishing and engagement features for Viber once you've linked your Viber account through Sprinklr. In this guide, we'll walk through how to link your Viber account in Sprinklr's account settings.

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have the App Key of a supported Viber account. The app key (also known as an authentication token) is a unique and secret account identifier. It is used to authenticate requests in the Viber API and to prevent unauthorized persons from sending requests on behalf of a bot. Each API request must include an HTTP Header called X-Viber-Auth-Token containing the account’s authentication token.

The app key is generated upon bot creation and can be viewed by the account’s admins in the Edit Info window of your bot or on the Viber Admin window. For more information, see Viber REST API.
