Ads Manager Roles & Permissions

Updated

This article will explain the governance permissions available for the Sprinklr Ads Manager and how to set up a Role.

Note: Do not create or edit Roles without first consulting your System Admin. Appropriate Roles for all users should have been made during Implementation.

To Grant a Role Level Permission

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Governance Console, click All Settings within Platform Setup.

  2. On the Platform Settings window, select Workspace Roles or Global Roles within Manage Workspace or Manage Customer, respectively.

Note: It is best practise to use Global level Roles.

  3. In the top right corner of the Roles (Settings) window, click Create Role. To learn more about creating a role, see Ads Roles and Permissions: Overview.

  4. On the Add Role window, under Select Permissions, search and select from the below Ad Manager permissions and click Save in the bottom right corner.

Requires the "View" permission above to work.

Existing Creative Only

Restrictive

Restricts users to use or select from existing creatives only to ensure that approved creatives are being published in Ads.

Macro Application Only

Restrictive

Restricts users to the following Ads Macro capabilities:

  • Users will not be able to edit the macro name or other input fields.

  • Users will not be able to build, clone, edit, or delete macros.

  • Users can only fill in the required input fields while applying the macro and cannot make edits to the actions.

  • Users will only have the Apply and Cancel actions.
