Ads Product Catalog Permissions & Governance

Sprinklr offers System Admins to control who can use, create and edit Product Catalogs via a combination of Role permissions and Share settings of individual Product Catalogs.

Product Catalog Role Permissions

In All Settings > Manage Customer > Roles, there are the following permissions for Product Catalogs. Note that to use these, the "Ads Settings > View" permission is also required, so that users can see the Product Catalog section within the Ads Tools & Settings page.

View
Allows users to see Product Catalogs and use them in Ads Composer, Ads Reporting, etc.
Create
Allows users to create a new Product Catalog using the Ad Accounts & Business Managers they have access to.

Edit

Gives users access to the “Edit”, “Manage Catalog” and “Sync Data” buttons on Product Catalogs.

Clone

Gives users access to the “Create a new catalog similar to this catalog” button.

Delete

Allows users to delete Product Catalogs.

Import

Gives users access to the “Import Product Catalog” button.

Share

Gives users the ability to share Catalogs

Product Catalog Share Options

In addition to the tools a user is able to access, as governed by their Role, individual Product Catalogs can be shared at the View and Edit level.

  • View-level Share: Users are able to use the Catalogs when building, managing, reporting on and optimizing Ads

  • Edit-level Share: Users are able to use the Catalogs as above but also Edit, Clone, Share Delete and Manage them, provided they have those options in their Role.

  • Sharing can be done Globally, or at the Workspace, User Group and individual User levels.

  • The amount of access a User will have to a Catalog will be based on the combination of their Role and Share access, as shown in the table below:
