You can configure Smart Rules for the following channels:

What Sprinklr products are required to use Smart Rules for Listening?

Sprinklr Insights (Listening) and Sprinklr Marketing (Ads).

Can I use existing Listening topics & themes to trigger ads?

Yes, all existing Listening Topics & Themes will be available to select as conditions.

Can I create new Topics & Themes when creating Smart Rules?

Yes, but you must have permission to create topics within Listening in Sprinklr. If you do not have Listening permissions, contact your System Admin.

Do new topics created for Smart Rules for Listening count toward my mention volume?

Yes, new topics created during the trigger creation will be saved to your environment and will count toward license mention volume. However, using existing topics and creating themes will not count toward license mention volume.

Is there any learning period for Smart Alerts after a topic is created and fetched?

Yes, Smart Alerts require a learning period of 14 days from the time the topic starts fetching.

I am new to Listening. How can I learn to build a topic?

To learn more about topic creation, see Create a Topic.

If my client is not willing to build new topics, can I still use Listening rules?

Yes, you can ask the Listening team for view access to existing topics where you can find generalized topics and build themes to suffice the specific use cases of your client.

If I build themes, will it use up the mentioned volume in the contract?

No, there is no additional cost (mention usage) when building themes; it uses contract mentions only for topics.

While setting up a Target audience, if I specify Geo Market, Zip Code, and Region instead of City, will my weather Rule work as expected?

Yes, the rule will work as it doesn't check what is specified in your targeting.

What permissions do I need to apply Smart Rules?

You will beed the Ads Manager View & Edit permissions in order to apply Smart Rules. For more information, see here. In order to see the Smart Rule Manager, you will need View access to Ad Settings.

Is Smart Rule visibility controlled by a Dynamic Property?

Yes; enable the Dynamic Property PAID_SMART_RULES_ENABLED to access Smart Rules.
