What is Stats Import?

Updated

SUMMARY

This article will cover an overview of the stats import feature. Stats Import is used to import any external data in Sprinklr for advertising reporting and optimization. It can be used to measure the efficiency of your campaigns and import external data to monitor and improve the performance of your ads.

What is Stats Import

You can measure the performances of direct response campaigns and optimize your strategy for driving ads by manually importing external data such as clicks, conversions, downloads, purchases, etc., and monitoring them. Stats Import is a great way to integrate with any third-party data or business intelligence tools and import performance data in Sprinklr for reporting and optimization purposes.

For example, the stats import integration enables you to:

  • Integrate with any tool, such as looker, salesforce, tableau, etc, via SFTP or Amazon S3 bucket

  • Measure and optimize campaigns towards your own “source of truth” data.

  • Have a unified reporting view for all your data

  • Import cohort data and analyze ad variant performance for each cohort in Sprinklr

As with other data sources, you can use stats import data towards not just reporting but also with other Sprinklr functionalities such as smart bidding, smart budget, and paid rules

Cohort Stats Import

When analyzing data, high-level reporting is not always the best way to make inferences and may become deceiving if the data is too broad. It is important to understand the context in which the data is given in, choose filters that can give you stronger insights, and compare data side-by-side.

A Cohort is a set of users grouped because of common behavior and can include anything, such as users who installed an app within the same period or the revenue generated in that period. With Cohort analysis, you can isolate users with similar behavior (i.e., install, attribution date) and report on the sequence of events or revenue within a particular time frame.
