Create a New Reporting Dashboard

Overview

You can create multiple dashboards in Global Reporting to view analytics for Projects and Tasks across all Portfolios. You can customize your dashboards with layered filters and widgets to gain specific, actionable insights and detailed reporting on your Projects and Tasks.

Create a Reporting Dashboard

1. Click the Reports icon on the Left Navigation Bar to open Global Reporting Home.

2. Click Create Dashboard to create a custom Dashboard.

3. In the pop-up that appears, you can give your Dashboard a name. You can also map your Dashboard to a folder. Click Next to go to the next step.

4. To select which Projects you want to include in your reporting, click the Dropdown icons next to the relevant Portfolio names to reveal all of the Projects and Sub-Projects under them. Click the Checkbox next to the Projects/ Sub-Projects you want to include in your reporting.

5. You can also hover over the name of particular Portfolios or Projects and click the Select All option to select all Projects and Sub-Projects under that Project or Portfolio. If all Projects/ Sub-Projects are already selected, you will see a Deselect All option allowing you to deselect all Projects/ Sub-Projects under that Portfolio or Project.

6. Click the Save button to create your Dashboard.

7. Your Reporting Dashboard will initally be blank. Click the Add Widget button to add Widgets and visualize your Project and Task data.

8. You can add Sections, creating Dashboards within a Dashboard to view reporting for different aspects of your work.

9. Add Filters to your Reporting Dashboard to refine the data and analytics according to your needs. You can also choose to Save filters. This will save your selected filters to the Dashboard and they will be available whenever you open it.

10. Click the Filters icon to hide or show filters.

10. Click the Date Range Selector to view analytics for specific time periods and date ranges. The Date Range Selector offers a highly customizable and granular. You can view analytics for the entire lifetime of the selected Projects and Portfolios, for specific months, dates, or even for the past hour.

11. Click the Select Projects icon to add or remove Projects you are viewing reporting for.
