After configuring the Google Analytics in Sprinklr Marketplace, you will be able to apply the profile to your Ads and measure the effectiveness of outbound campaigns via Ads Reporting.
Reporting Assumptions
After the Google Analytics integration in the Sprinklr Marketplace, Sprinklr will retrieve the previous 13 months of data from Google Analytics by default. If you need more historical data, please work with your Success Manager.
After the historical data is initially loaded, any changes to the configuration of the Google Analytics integration will only fetch data from the previous three days, rather than the previous 13 months.
Google Analytics data will be updated every 1 hour. If you need more frequent updates, please work with your Success Manager.
All the Google Analytics reporting data will populate in the respective Google Analytics account timezone.
Sprinklr queries data at the Ad Entity level. In case the same entity is associated with multiple profiles and those profiles are added into Sprinklr, please ensure to make the request for migration of the data for distinguishing data among profiles.
Google Analytics Applications
1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Marketing (Ads), select Ads Composer within Execute.
2. On the Ads Composer window, fill in the details. For more information, see About the Ads Composer.
3. In the Creatives section, select Create new creative and specify your creative details.
4. Select the Google Analytics profile from the Web Analytics drop-down menu and enter the website URL you want to promote in the Website URL field.
5. Click Save in the bottom-right corner and continue to configure your campaign.
6. After publishing the campaign, you can see the UTM code appended to the ad’s Website URL in Ads Manager. For more information, see Apply Web Analytics Profiles to Creatives from Ads Manager (Step 6).
We allow you to use Google Analytics in our existing AI features such as Smart Budget Allocation and Strategy Groups. This enables you to map your campaigns more effectively. For more information, see Apply Smart Budget Allocation in Ads Manager and Configure Strategy Groups.
You can use a specific set of metrics to create Ads Reporting widgets that combine Google Analytics data with your web and social ad performance data. To learn more about adding a reporting widget, see Add Widgets to the Reporting Dashboard.
You can also see how web activity is driven by different ads, accounts, or channels. To view the list of the metrics, see Google Analytics Metrics Glossary.
Examples of Custom Reporting Widgets:
Web & Social Performance Overview: This non-standard dashboard is configured using combined sessions and page view counts. The sessions and page view data are further broken down by social accounts to display the web and social performance. Compare each social network’s ability to drive engagement on your website.
Attribute Web Activity and Goals to Ad Posts: This widget uses Google Analytics metrics to show the Sessions, Page Views, and Goal Completions of individual ads. Measure which one of your Accounts is converting social engagements into web conversions.
Correlate Social Efforts to Website Traffic: This widget shows the number of Sessions compared to the volume of published messages, allowing you to plot trends of published messages on website Sessions to help visually correlate their relationship.
Additionally, to streamline campaign optimizations, you can add Google Analytics metrics within Customized Columns in Ads Manager.
Google Analytics and DoubleClick can be used together in a single workflow. Google Analytics is appended to the Web URL before sending to DoubleClick. Refer to Use Google Campaign Manager and Web Analytics Simultaneously for more information.
Limitations
You cannot create custom metrics by combining the data from paid and social analytics sources. You can only use metrics from the same source.
Paid Google Analytics links must be configured within Sprinklr in order to maintain data accuracy as Sprinklr Ad Variant is the unique identifier.
Paid Google Analytics metrics can only be populated in Ads Reporting.
Google Analytics metrics cannot be used in the Paid Rule Engine due to the frequency of data updates.

Once your Google Analytics profile is integrated, you'll be able to view analytics data alongside social data in Reporting Insights and Ads Reporting. The following metrics are available and can be used to build widgets in custom dashboards.
