JIRA Integration

You can integrate a JIRA instance with your community, enabling admins with the "Create JIRA Cases" permission to create JIRA tickets directly from community posts. This integration allows brands to seamlessly incorporate user feedback into their development backlog by associating JIRA tickets with specific feedback from the community.

To set this up

  1. Create a Guided Workflow: Include an API node in the Guided Workflow to integrate your JIRA instance within the community.

  2. Enable JIRA Workflow: Enable the JIRA workflow in the "Conversation" section under "Content Settings" in the builder. Choose the appropriate Guided Workflow for JIRA ticket creation. You can also define the specific post types, categories, and topics where this workflow will be applicable.

  3. Create JIRA from a Post: Hover over the Options icon on the desired post and select "Create JIRA."

  4. Fill in Details: On the Create JIRA window, enter the necessary details as configured in the guided workflow.

  5. View Linked JIRA Tickets: Once the ticket is created, users with the "View JIRA Cases" permission can see the linked ticket on the post along with its status.
