Custom Reporting Dashboards for Advocacy

In Advocacy Reporting, you can use Advocacy-specific metrics and dimensions to create custom dashboards and widgets. Custom dashboards for Advocacy allow you to customize the data you see and the way that it's visualized. 

Note: Use of this feature requires that Advocacy Marketing be enabled in your environment. To learn more about Advocacy Marketing, please contact your Success Manager.

Navigate to Advocacy Reporting

  1. Click the New Tab icon Screen Shot 2017-09-25 at 1.52.25 PM.png and select Reporting under Advocacy.

Create New Dashboards

  1. In the top right corner, select the actions icon Icon_Stair_Menu.png and select Create to create a new Advocacy Dashboard.

  2. Provide a name for your new dashboard, and enter any tags as desired.

  3. Click Save to create your new dashboard.

Create Widgets

  1. In a custom Advocacy dashboard, click Add Widget in the top right corner to add a new widget.

  2. Provide a name for your new widget.

  3. Select a visualization. The following visualizations are supported for Advocacy:

    Column

    Bar

    Pie

    Stacked Column

    Stacked Bar

    Line

    Spline

    Area

    Area Spline

    Bubble

    Dual Axis

    Combination

    Table

    Counter

    Funnel

    Summary Table

    Text

  4. Select the metrics and dimensions you'd like to display in your Advocacy reporting widgets. You can use the Advocacy Reporting Glossary for a list of available metrics and dimensions specific to Advocacy.

Streamlined Reporting by Consolidated Multi-Value Fields ​

With this feature you can ensure that multiple-value Custom Fields do not end up with duplicate rows in the reporting widget. These dimensions are called the 'CSV' version of the original dimension, and they will show multiple values in the same row separated by commas instead of creating multiple rows for each value. ​

These dimensions will be like the current Custom Field dimension except it will have CSV added next to them. For example, a Custom Field dimensions named 'Advocacy - Region' will have another dimension named 'Advocacy - Region CSV'. ​

This means quicker, more efficient reviews and richer insights, as all relevant data is presented in a unified and easy-to-digest format.
