Difference between Outbound, Post Publishing, Pre-Publishing & Autofill Rules

Updated

Autofill Rules

Autofill Rules are applied to outbound messages that are applied when the message is created. These rules can be used to autofill certain message properties by configuring conditions and actions for messages when they are drafted or sent for approval.

Outbound Rules

Outbound Rules are initiated when a message is scheduled. If an Outbound Rule is set up and enabled, and the conditions are met then the action setup takes place.

Post-Publishing Rules

Post Publishing Rules are Rules that apply to outbound messages upon publishing. These Rules can be configured to tag messages as they are published or to notify team members when a message that meets specific conditions is posted. You can use Post Publishing Rules to automatically apply properties to a message, to send an email notification to other Sprinklr users, or to apply properties to the recipient of the outbound message.

Pre-Publishing Rules

Use this rule type to stop publishing any message(s) that meet the rule condition criteria when the rule is active, recall messages to drafting, or reschedule messages to a later date and time.
