Paid Rule Keyword Lists
Updated
You can leverage the Paid Rule Engine to automate the tagging of Ad Variants based on Keyword Lists. Keyword Lists allow you to quickly and easily create a frequently used set of keywords or phrases and use them in Rules, saving time and reducing the possibility for any manual error.
For any queries, please refer to FAQs at the bottom of this article.
Before We Begin
Familiarize yourself with Keyword Lists and create a Keyword List that you would use in your Rule.
To Use Keyword Lists in Paid Rules
Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Manage Rules within Optimize.
Follow the steps outlined in Paid Rule Engine to create a new rule.
On the Rule Builder window, click the Add icon and select Add Condition.
In the Edit Condition pane to the right, provide a Name for your condition.
Under Conditions Applies To 'Properties of the Ad Variants', select All Text in Ad and the corresponding operator based on your use case. Select the keyword list you have created from the Values drop-down menu. The rule will scan the keywords within specific Ad Variant fields and trigger the actions.
Tip : Refer to Example of a Rule using Keyword List to better understand Rules based on Keyword Lists.
Next, configure the rule action. For more information, see Paid Rule Actions.
Click Save in the bottom right corner and trigger the rule.
Example of a Rule using Keyword List
Create a custom list of keywords and phrases that are irrelevant or unsolicited and save it as Spam.
You can then use this keyword list as a condition in your Rule and take actions to only run those ad creatives that do not have any such keywords.
At any point in the future, if you wish to add more keywords to your list, you can do so independently of the Rule by editing the existing keyword list without the need to create a new list from scratch.
