Governance of Peer to Peer Chat

Seamlessly assign specific user roles the authority to initiate conversations with designated counterparts and define which roles are permitted to respond to the initiated discussions.

Additionally, promote enhanced oversight and compliance across the organization by granting administrators the ability to determine which user roles are authorized to monitor conversations.

Enablement Note:

A user must have the Manage permission under Peer To Peer Chat to use this capability.

To Customize Governance

  1. Access All Settings within Platform Modules.

  2. Navigate to Manage Customer and select Peer to Peer Chat to configure settings as needed.

  3. On the Peer To Peer Chat window, toggle the switch located at the top right corner to access role configuration settings.

    Start Conversation: Determine which roles have permission to initiate conversations with specific roles.

    Reply to Conversation: Specify the roles authorized to respond to conversations initiated by particular roles.

    Chat Monitoring: Configure which roles are empowered to monitor conversations of specific roles.

    To add multiple roles, simply click the addition icon located on the right side of each section. This allows for the inclusion of several roles within each specified category.

  4. Click Save in the bottom right corner to save the configuration.
