Customize Site Menu Options

Updated

The navigation bar on the Advocacy site is an important part of the platform which allows users to quickly switch between different parts of the platform with a single click through the Menu Icons.

Sprinklr Advocacy allows you to customize these Site Menu options by allowing you to enable/disable any option, or even rename any menu option.

By default, the Advocacy Site Menu contains the following options in the Navigation bar.

Steps to Customize the Site Menu Options

These menu options can be customized from the Admin Console. To customize them, navigate to the Admin Console:

  1. Click the New Tab icon.

  2. Click Admin Console under Sprinklr Social

  3. Hover over the desired Advocacy Community. Click the Options icon beside the community's name, and select View sites

  4. Navigate to the Pages tab and find the Menu Item section to start customizing them.

Add the Menu items: Menu Items appear in your site header

  • Home

  • Calendar

  • Members Director

  • Discussions

  • Analytics

  • Upload

  • External URL

Add the Profile Dropdown items: Profile dropdown items appear in a user's menu upon hovering over their profile:

  • Edit Information

  • Logout

  • External URL

You can rename the label of each menu item as well as enable or disable any item from the Advocacy site.
You can also configure some internal or external links to be part of the navigation menu so that the users can have one click access your internal tools from within the Sprinklr Advocacy itself.

Footer

You can also create and add footer links to the Advocacy site. A total of five footers can be shown upfront on the Advocacy landing page. Sprinklr Advocacy supports two type of footer links:

External URL – Redirect the user to an external link

PDF – Open a PDF in a new tab

Tip: Create links for important pages such as the brand's 'Privacy Policy,' 'Terms & Conditions,' or any other relevant information you want advocates to be aware of.

Social Icons

Admins can include brand social network URLs (visible exclusively in the Sprinklr extend app). Advocates can follow the links to explore and follow the brand's maintained social channels.

Several other site related configurations can be configured from the same Pages tab in Admin Console which includes:
