WeChat QR Code

The square-shaped barcodes are WeChat QR Codes. A QR Code is a 2D barcode that contains information which can be read by a smartphone. WeChat uses QR Codes to allow you to easily connect with each other without the need to save others as a contact first. 

In this article, we will learn about the creation of WeChat QR Code in Digital Asset Management,  publishing of WeChat QR Code using Quick Publisher and creation of WeChat columns for QR Code Messages.

Before You Begin

Before you create WeChat Auto Reply, ensure that you've added your official WeChat Account in Sprinklr. To add your WeChat account, see Add a WeChat Account.

Steps to Create a WeChat QR Code

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Assets within Engage.

  2. On the Digital Asset Management window, click Create Asset In the top right corner and choose WeChat QR Code from the drop-down menu.ModernEngagement_DigitalAssetManager_CreateAsset_WeChatQRCode.png

  4. Click Save in the bottom right corner.

Description
Basic Details
Name

Enter the desired name for the new QR code.

Description

Enter the description for the QR code.

Asset Specific
Content

Enter the content for the WeChat QR Code.

WeChat Account (Only Service Accounts)

Select the WeChat Service Account from the drop-down menu.

Asset Details
Campaigns

Select the Campaign from the drop-down menu.

Sub Campaigns

Select the Sub-Campaign from the drop-down menu.

Status

Select the status of the QR code from the drop-down menu. The following status is available:

  • Draft

  • Approved

  • Expired

Available From

Set the date from which the QR code is available for usage.

Visible From

Set the date from which the QR code is visible in the Digital Asset Manager.

Visible Till

Set the date until the QR code is visible in the Digital Asset Manager. 

Expires on 

Set the expiry date for the QR code.

Never Expires

Check the box, if you want the QR Code to never expire.

Tags

Check the relevant box(es) from the drop-down menu.

Restricted

Select the restrictions of the QR code from the drop-down menu 

Brands

Check the relevant box(es) from the drop-down menu. 

Persona

Check the relevant box(es) from the drop-down menu. 

Customer Journey Stage

Check the relevant box(es) from the drop-down menu.

Automated Tags

Select the automated tags from the drop-down menu.

Information

Enter and draft the additional information related to the QR code.

Asset Sharing
Visible in all workspaces

Check the box, if you want the QR Code to be visible in all workspaces.

Workspaces

Select the Workspace(s) from the drop-down menu.

Users / Users Groups

Select the User(s) or User Group(s) from the drop-down menu.

Properties

Fill the desired custom properties.

Steps to Publish a WeChat QR Code

  1. Click the Quick Publish icon Quick Publish.png in the top right corner of the top navigation bar and select Create Post.

  2. On the Create Post window, select your WeChat account where you want to publish. You can also use Advanced Search to narrow your searches by a series of different filters.

  3. For WeChat QR code, select the Type of Message as Photo and News from the drop-down menu. For more information, see Publish to WeChat.QuickPublisher_CreatePost_WeChatQRCode.png

  4. Click Post in the bottom right corner to publish the post on the selected WeChat account immediately. If you are not ready to publish and want to save your post as a draft, click Save as Draft.

  5. You can also schedule your post for a future date and time by clicking the  Schedule Post in the bottom right corner. Select the month, date, and time of publishing. Click Apply to save your changes. 

Steps to Create a Column for WeChat QR Code

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon . Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Engagement Dashboards within Engage.

  2. Click Add Column in the top right corner of the desired Engagement dashboard.

  3. On the Add New Column window, search and select WeChat as a source for adding a new column.

  5.  Click Create Column in the bottom right corner to create the new column. Upon creation, your column will be available in the current dashboard.
