What is boosting? 

Boosting is the paid promotion of a post on social media to increase its visibility and reach allowing it to be seen by a wider audience beyond your followers. 

Sprinklr provides you with the capability to allow distributed users to boost organic content using their Ad accounts. Boosting a post helps you amplify the top-performing organic posts using a simple intuitive workflow and reach out to the targeted audiences ensuring maximum engagement. When a Distributed User boosts an organic post, it is considered a sponsored post. 

Note: Distributed users with “create account” permission in general, as well as delegates who do not have “create account” permission can boost organic posts.

Note: Supported channels to Boost Organic Posts in Sprinklr are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin.

How to boost organic posts in Distributed?  

You can boost a post from: 

  • Editorial Calendar 

  • Outbound Engagement Streams 

Note: This capability is DP controlled. Get in touch with your Success Manager to get this feature enabled.

To Boost Organic Posts from Editorial Calendar in Distributed

  1. Log into the Distributed environment.

  2. Click the Calendar icon in the menu bar to the left.

  3. Select the post you want to boost. Click Boost Post.

  4. On the Boost Post window, select the Ad Account/Account Group from the dropdown.

  5. Enter the Name for the Paid Initiative, if you choose Create New. Otherwise, Select existing Paid Initiative.

  6. Select Audience from the Targeting from Audience Manager dropdown.

  7. Under Budget & Duration, enter Total Budget in the given field.

  8. Select Auto Bidding or Manual Bidding, based on your preference.

  9. Enter start date and end date respectively in the Start promoting from and End promotions on fields.

  10. Select the Campaign from the given dropdown.

  11. Enter the other details in the respective fields under Custom Properties.

  12. For a normal quick boost, click Boost in the bottom-right corner of the Boost Post window to initiate the process.

Note: Once a post is boosted, you can make edits such as changing the Start and End dates from the Ads Manager.

Outbound Engagement Streams 

  1. Click the menu item which has the Outbound stream mapped to it. 

  2. On the post which you want to boost, click More, and select Boost Post.

  3. In the Boost Post window the flow would be the same as boosting a post from the editorial calendar.
