Publish Facebook Carousel Posts (Distributed Users)
Updated
Sprinklr allows you to publish Facebook Carousel Posts from the Sprinklr publisher. Carousel Posts allow you to publish multiple images and links and are a great way to direct traffic to specific areas of your site. You can publish a Facebook Carousel Post that directs users to various product pages all from the same post.
To Publish a Facebook Carousel Post
Log into the Distributed environment.
Click the Publisher icon in the bottom right corner.
On the Create Post window, select your Facebook Page where you want to publish a Carousel Post. You can also use Advanced Search to narrow your searches by a series of different filters.
Tip
You can Pin your favorite and frequently used Account(s) and Account Group(s). You will not have to go through the hassle of adding the same account every time you publish a post. This will lead to quick publishing and increase efficiency. For more information, see To Pin Accounts.
Select the Carousel from the drop-down menu under the Type of Message.
Once you have selected the Carousel Post as the Type of Message you would like to publish to, enter the content for the post in the Message box.
Note
At the bottom right corner of the message box, you will see a number representing the number of characters remaining for the message.
You can tag or @mention Facebook Pages in your posts. Type “@” and then begin typing a Facebook Page name in the box. You’ll then see a drop-down list of the potential page you can mention. Select the page you want from the list and continue typing your message.
Click the Emoji Picker icon from the Message box to open the emoji menu. Use the icons at the top to browse categories, or search the emoji. Click your chosen emoji, and it'll be added to your message.
Add an image by selecting an existing photo or by uploading one.
If you wish, after adding the image, select the Edit Image option to add filters, crop, rotate, add text or stickers, or add alt text. This will open the Image Editor — in the bottom right corner of the image, you will make your desired changes with a live preview that renders on the left side. For more information, see About the Image Editor.
Next, enter the Headlines and News Feed Description for the card.
Select the Call To Action from the drop-down menu.
Enter the URL for the card under Click through Url, if you want each carousel card to direct people to a different URL.
Click Add Another Photo to add more images.
Under See More URL, provide the URL where the visitors are intended to land.
Click Add Targeting and Add Gating to select a target audience for the post. You can select from a saved audience or create a new audience for targeting.
You can also publish the post as a Dark Post and schedule the post by checking the respective boxes.
You can select URL Shortener to shorten every link that you paste in your message. This helps you make the most of the character limit.
Apply the desired Properties to the post.
Under Approval, set an Approval Type for your post. You can also add a Note.
To continue publishing more posts, check the box alongside Publish Another.
You can also schedule your post for a future date and time by clicking the Schedule Post in the bottom right corner. Select the month, date, and time of publishing. Click Apply to save your changes.
Click Post in the bottom right corner to publish the carousel post on the selected Facebook page immediately. If you are not ready to publish and want to save your post as a draft, click Save as Draft in the bottom right corner.
Tip
If any errors appear in your Carousel Post, the corresponding section will appear in red.
