Redeem Rewards in the Platform

This guide helps you, as an end user, understand how to redeem rewards using the Reward Engine on the Advocacy platform. It also explains how to earn tokens, track your redemption history, and use additional features on the Reward Engine page.

Learn how to Access the Rewards Section

  1. Log in to the Advocacy Platform(Use your credentials to access the platform).

  2. Navigate to Reward Engine:

    1. Click Reward Engine icon(in the left menu).

    2. The Rewards section will display all available items you can redeem.

How to Redeem a Reward

  1. Explore Available Rewards:

    1. Browse through the Rewards section to view all available items, including their descriptions, token requirements and available inventory.

  2. Check Eligibility:

    1. Ensure you have enough tokens to redeem the reward.

    2. If there are specific criteria for a reward (e.g., participation in a campaign), confirm that you meet those conditions.

  3. Select Your Reward:

    1. Click Reward you want to redeem.

    2. Review the reward details, including the token cost and redemption terms.

  4. Redeem the Reward:

    1. Click Redeem button to submit your request.

    2. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your request has been sent to the admin for approval.

  5. Add a Note to Admin (Optional):

    1. Use the Note section on the reward card to send additional details to the admin, such as your address or preferences (e.g., size or color, if options are available).

How to Earn Tokens

Tokens are earned by accumulating points through activities like engaging with content assigned by your admin.

  1. Token Conversion Process:

    1. Points are converted into tokens automatically once every 24 hours, based on your total points accumulated. 

  2. Check Your Token Balance:

    1. Use Available Tokens widget on the Reward Engine page to view your current token balance.

  3. Learn More About Tokens:

    1. Click “i” icon next to the widget’s title to see how many points are needed to earn one token.

  4. Click the Learn more about tokens CTA in the same widget for additional information, including:

Tracking Your Reward Requests Using the REDEEMED REWARDS Widget 

The REDEEMED REWARDS widget, located below the Available Tokens widget, allows you to track all your rewards in one place.

  1. Check Redemption History:

    1. View a complete history of all your reward redemptions.

    2. The latest status of each request is displayed clearly in this section.

  2. Statuses Available in the Widget:

    1. Pending: Requests awaiting admin approval.

    2. Approved: Requests approved by the admin and being processed.

    3. Rejected: Requests denied by the admin, with tokens returned to your account.

    4. Completed: Requests that have been fully processed and delivered.

  3. Retry Rejected Requests:

    1. If a request is rejected, the tokens are automatically credited back to your account.

    2. The Redeem button will reappear for the reward, allowing you to reattempt redemption after resolving the issue.

What Happens After Redemption

  1. Request Approval:

    1. Your reward request will be reviewed by an admin.

    2. You’ll receive a notification when your request is approved, rejected, or completed.

  2. Reward Delivery:

    1. Once your request is approved and processed, you’ll receive your reward as specified (Example: gift card, merchandise).

FAQs

The token requirement is displayed on each reward. Your total tokens are shown in the Available Tokens widget on the Reward Engine page.

If your request is rejected, the tokens are returned to your account. You can reattempt redemption after resolving the issue, such as meeting criteria or correcting errors.

No, once a reward request is submitted, it cannot be canceled. You must wait for the admin to approve or reject the request.

The delivery time depends on the reward type and admin processing. Digital rewards like gift cards are often delivered faster than physical items.

Out-of-stock rewards cannot be redeemed. Check back later to see if the inventory has been replenished.
