Reporting Insights: 'Is Deleted' Dimension
Updated
You can use the Is Deleted Dimension within Reporting to show whether a post is deleted or not, displayed as a True or False value in Reporting widgets. Deleted posts are removed from Sprinklr Reporting, which may cause apparent discrepancies between the reporting you see from native channels and the data you see in Sprinklr.
Using the Is Deleted dimension, you can view the deleted status of posts. Additionally, deleted posts can be applied as a widget-level filter. Using the Is Deleted dimension as a widget filter allows you to configure widgets that display reporting data on deleted posts, otherwise hidden in Reporting.
To Use the 'Is Deleted' Dimension
Click the New Tab icon . Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Reporting within Analyze.
Click the Dashboard Menu icon to open the left-side menu and select the dashboard on which you'd like to create a widget using this dimension
In the Reporting Dashboard window, click Add Widget in the top right corner or in the middle of the page (if no widgets have been added).
Enter a Widget Name to display at the top of the widget and enter the Widget Description of your Widget. You can also add a video in the description
Select the Data Source from the drop-down menu for your widget.
Under Select a visualization for your widget, select a chart type for your Widget from the drop-down menu.
Under What would you like to plot on your widget?, add Metrics/Dimensions for your Widget. Click Bulk add metrics/dimensions to select both Metrics and Dimensions. Metrics and Dimensions will be shown in groups so that you to easily identify relevant metrics and dimensions.
In the Add a Metric or Dimension pop-up window, choose Is Deleted from the drop-down menu of dimensions.
Note: Data related to deleted posts are grabbed in Sprinklr every 12 hours, so if a post is freshly deleted it may take up to 12 hours for this to be reflected in Reporting Dashboards.
Fill the remaining details as desired. Click Add to Dashboard in the bottom right corner to add your widget to your dashboard.
To Apply an 'Is Deleted' Widget Filter
In an editable widget, hover over the Options icon to view widget options and click the Edit Widget.
Under Define Advanced Options, in Filters, select Is Deleted as the dimension to filter by. Set the values to True and False to include reporting data on both deleted and not deleted posts, or to True to see reporting data on deleted posts only.
*The Instagram and Linkedin API does not provide us with the deleted posts information while Facebook and Twitter API do provide us with the deleted posts information.
*Thus, you can use “Is Deleted: True” filter to see data for deleted posts, though this works only for Facebook and Twitter.
*For LinkedIn and Instagram posts cannot be deleted through platform and channels do not provide information that post is deleted, so they will appear as normal (and deleted filter will not discern them).
*You will be able to filter out the deleted post for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Update the remaining details as desired. Click Update Widget in the bottom right corner to finalize the changes.
