Advanced Publisher Role-Based Configurations

The Advanced Publisher helps you publish your posts in the best way possible. By default, you can only access the Quick Publisher in your environment. In order to access Advanced Publisher, you need to create a specific role and provide it to your success manager. In this article, you will learn the procedure of creating the role to access Advanced Publisher. 

To Create Role to Access Advanced Publisher 

  1. Click the New Tab icon . Under the Governance Console tab, click All Settings within Platform Setup.
  2. On the Settings window, select Manage Customer in the top left corner and click Global Roles.

  3. On the Global Roles window, click Create Role in the top right corner.

  4. On the Add Role window, fill out the basic information as required.
  5. In the Select Permissions section, go to Publishing and click All under Outbound Message.

  6. Select the users and user groups for which you want to assign the role to access the Advanced Publisher.

  7. Click Save to create this role.
  8. Contact your Success Manager and submit the support ticket along with customer name and role name.

Disable Message Name  and Source Language as Required Fields

If Message Name and Source Language are unutilized fields when creating Messages, you have the ability to remove them as required fields.

  1. Configure a Customer-level Role and assign Users or User Groups.
  2. Provide your Success Manager with your Customer name and the Role for which Message Name/Source Language should be disabled.

Enable Confidential Messages

If your teams have confidential content that only a limited amount of stakeholders should see, you have the ability to mark messages as confidential

  1. Configure a Customer-level Role and assign Users or User Groups.
  2. Provide your Success Manager with your Customer name and the Role for which confidential messages should be enabled.
